Yancheng Weiyu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a platform-based biotechnology company focused on green biomanufacturing and resource utilization. The company has established an integrated biomanufacturing technology platform covering microbial resource development, functional strain screening, bioactive protein evaluation, fermentation process optimization, and scale-up transformation.

By integrating synthetic biology, microbial engineering, protein engineering, AI-driven data intelligence, and intelligent fermentation technologies, the company continues to advance the R&D and application of functional microorganisms, plant immunity-inducing proteins, bioactive molecules, and microbial biotransformation products. Supported by a postdoctoral research team and research resources from Tsinghua University, China Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University, and other institutions, Weiyu Biotech is committed to promoting biomanufacturing innovations toward stable, efficient, low-carbon, and scalable industrial applications.

Development History

2014
During his postgraduate studies, the founder began focusing on the future direction of agricultural development and established a long-term vision of using microbial technology to support green agriculture and sustainable development.
2019
After receiving his Ph.D., the founder carried out microbial functional experiments and application research across various regions in China, focusing on agricultural microbial resource development and functional validation.
2022
In collaboration with China Agricultural University, the team advanced technological innovation, functional strain screening, fermentation process optimization, and application transformation.
2024
In collaboration with Tsinghua University, the team carried out research and development in biosynthesis technology, further expanding the company’s capabilities in biomanufacturing and high-value biological product development.
2025
Yancheng VeYoMic Biotech Co., Ltd. was officially established, focusing on the development of platforms for microbial engineering, biosynthesis, biotransformation, and industrial fermentation manufacturing.
2026
The company officially began operation and production, with an annual production capacity of 1,200 tons of microbial agents and bioproteins, accelerating the transformation of R&D achievements into scalable applications.
